About Blue Sky Smog

I'm Michael Shaw, owner of Blue Sky Smog and a licensed smog technician with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Based in Bakersfield, CA, I started Blue Sky Smog to bring reliable mobile Clean Truck Check (CTC) testing to Kern County and the surrounding area.

As a working technician, I quickly ran into a problem that a lot of shop owners and mobile testers know all too well — there was no reliable, affordable invoicing software built specifically for smog and CTC work. Everything out there was either too generic, too expensive, or just not designed with our industry in mind.

So I built my own.

Blue Sky Smog's invoicing and shop management software was born out of my own need as a mobile CTC tester. It's designed from the ground up for smog check stations and Clean Truck Testing operations — because I use it myself every day.
