Built by a Working Technician
I'm Michael Shaw, owner of Blue Sky Smog and a licensed smog technician with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Based in Bakersfield, CA, I started Blue Sky Smog to bring reliable, mobile Clean Truck Check (CTC) testing to Kern County and the surrounding area.
As a working technician, I quickly ran into a problem that a lot of shop owners and mobile testers know all too well — there was no reliable, affordable invoicing software built specifically for smog and CTC work. So I built my own.
Blue Sky Smog's invoicing and shop management software was born out of my own need as a mobile CTC tester. It's designed from the ground up for smog check stations and Clean Truck Testing operations — because I use it myself every day.
